NEW ORDER RECEIVED FOR SHUTTLE PAINT COATER IN REPUBLIC OF NORTH MACEDONIA

The company Liberty Skopje entered into a contract with Globus for the supply of a new finish paint coater for its Organic Painting Line.

Liberty Steel Group has recently acquired Skopje plant and will accelerate its development by creating a significant European steel presence. With another six major steelworks as well as five service centres across Europe, Liberty Skopje is now part of a rapidly growing metals and engineering business. Liberty Steel Group operates at sites in the USA and Australia as well. As one of the top ten steel producers globally, excluding China, with a global rolling capacity in excess of 18 million tonnes per annum, the enlarged Liberty is well positioned to prosper and develop.

The new Finish Paint Coater is composed of two top heads and one bottom head. Specifically designed to be installed in the current facility, this machine will reduce the paint changing time on the top side of the strip. Future upgrades and expansions will be also possible thanks to the modularity of heads design and the provision for a second bottom head.

Globus is proud to supply this advanced Roll Coater to Liberty Steel Group and looks forward to new collaborations to develop together the Skopje Plant.
